Mahm (George) Baseball Factory is built.

The factory is located in six buildings located on 39 Green Street and Marlou Terrace. Reputed to be the first modern baseball factory in the U.S., it produces the ball licensed by the National League after it is established in 1876. The buildings are subsequently converted to residential use.
